Hey Everyone!!! I wish everyone a very happy holiday season!
I will be out of town for the next two weeks, will be having a vacation trip (my first in like forever!). I will try to get on and update if I can, but I might not so, if you see the site is kinda not updated, don’t be affraid, I will be back soon!
Matt Damon stars as one of the agents who got in on the ground floor of the CIA in the dramatic movie The Good Shepherd directed by Robert De Niro and co-starring Angelina Jolie. De Niro’s second directorial effort focuses on the early days of the CIA and how involvement in the ultra-secretive organization plays havoc with one man’s life.
How difficult was it to give life to a very unemotional character, to make him human enough that the audience will want to watch this guy for three hours?
“I was nervous about that and I think with another director I would have given into my fear and indicated more and pushed it more, and been a little more over the top. The reality was that he just insisted on absolute emotional honesty and subtlety all the time. I think something that I certainly have fallen victim to in the past is, because I’m also a writer, you look at every scene and you deconstruct the script. You go, ‘Okay, this scene is in the movie for this reason. The audience needs to come away with this.’ Which as a writer, you can do that, but as an actor that’s deadly. You can’t think in those terms or else you’re going to end up just pulling faces and indicating, and ultimately losing the movie because people don’t believe what you’re doing.
Matt Damon is planning to work with Ben Affleck again.
The Boston natives and best friends shot to fame when they co-wrote and starred in ‘Good Will Hunting’ together, but after Damon’s career rocketed and Affleck starred in a series of flops, it was widely believed they had gone their separate ways.
It now seems ‘Bourne Identity’ star Damon is considering reuniting the pair.
Damon said: “Ben and I found a project to co-direct that we might be able to get off the ground. We’re just kind of on the hunt for something good.
“Directing feels like a natural extension, having written and then acted for all these years. It just feels like I’ve got to try it.”
Damon, 36, has made millions playing Jason Bourne in the Bourne trilogy, as well as starring in a string of box office hits, including ‘Ocean’s Eleven’, ‘The Departed’ and ‘The Talented Mr Ripley’.
Affleck recently said he had given up hoping for success after his films ‘Gigli’ and ‘Jersey Girl’ flopped spectacularly and were ridiculed by critics.
However, his latest film ‘Hollywoodland’ has been well received and is being tipped for possible Oscar success.
Although Angelina Jolie and Matt Damon were happy to be working together on new film ‘The Good Shepherd’ they found their love scenes pretty hard to handle.
Damon, who is good friends with Brad Pitt, found it extremely awkward getting hot and heavy with his girlfriend.
Speaking to Good Morning America Damon said: “Doing a love scene with the girlfriend of a good friend is weird. We all know each other.”
However, the uber confident Jolie found things a tad easier, she said during an interview: “In reality both the people we’re involved with couldn’t have cared less about that because they know us. It’s one of those things where it’s like the least threatening person. You know, ‘Good luck to you guys, I hope it’s not too awkward.’
“The difference between kissing Matt and kissing Brad is simple. One’s a friend and one’s my lover.”
The real problem Jolie had with the film was being a victim for the first time, she added: “I realised early on this was going to be the film where I am the weak victim.”
That was a novelty for her co-stars as well, Damon added: “In one scene she had to act so apologetic and just so unlike Angie.”
‘The Good Shepherd’ will be in cinemas soon…
Matt Damon has said he believes Angelina Jolie’s acting talent is more awe-inspiring than her beauty after the two worked together on new film The Good Shepherd – but that’s not to say he doesn’t think she’s beautiful.
He said regarding his co-star this week: “She’s just absolutely beautiful, but she’s a terrific actress and that kind of overpowers her beauty, believe it or not, when you’re right next to her.”
He also revealed that he’s not surprised by the amount of attention she and partner Brad Pitt get wherever the go: “On the days she worked, there were like 50 cameras and all these people.”
“They have to deal with a lot of that stuff.”
“People are fascinated by her and by [Brad]. And them together – it’s like the perfect storm.”
I must be the worst webmaster ever! I’m really sorry. I’m working on this site and I will have new stuff soon! I promise
Matt will be on Larry King Live tomorrow, monday:
Angelina Jolie, Robert De Niro and Matt Damon spend some quality time with Larry talking about their latest movie. And they get candid about the stuff you want to know. Tune in Monday at 9 p.m. ET.
Hey guys, sorry for long absence, I’ve dealing with health issues. I’m kinda back now, not 100% yet, but trying to.

Matt Damon Pops the Question
Source: E! Online
Matt Damon seems to be in a rush to catch up to his newlywed crony, Ben Affleck.
The Talented Mr. Ripley star is taking his relationship with girlfriend Luciana Barroso, 29, to the next level, after popping the question to the Argentine-born beauty shortly before Labor Day weekend, E! has confirmed.
While Affleck is currently expecting his first child with wife Jennifer Garner, Damon will take on stepfather duties to Barroso’s 6-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
It will be the first marriage for the 34-year-old actor. No wedding date has been set.
Damon and Barroso, a former bartender who now works as an interior designer, have been together for two years.
The 29-year-old brunette was at Damon’s side throughout the European shoot of 2004’s Ocean’s Twelve and has accompanied him home to Boston to meet his family and friends and keep him company on the set of his upcoming film, The Departed.
Damon was previously linked with Winona Ryder (whom he famously dumped during an Oprah appearance), Claire Danes, Minnie Driver and Affleck’s former assistant, Odessa Whitmore.
Apart from planning his forthcoming nuptials, Damon has a full slate ahead of him.
He’ll next be seen opposite George Clooney in the upcoming drama, Syriana, a first-person account of life inside the CIA. The film is set for release on Nov. 23.
Sticking to the same theme, Damon will also appear in the film The Good Shepherd, a 40-year-history of the CIA, told through the eyes of one of its founding officers. Angelina Jolie and Robert De Niro also star in the film, which is set for a Dec. 22, 2006 release.
Damon is also set to star in a recently-announced third Bourne film–The Bourne Ultimatum. The movie is targeted for a 2007 release.
The just-engaged thesp can currently be seen on the big screen in The Brothers Grimm, opposite Heath Ledger.
Congratulations the happy couple!

Also from the Official Site, which I had to quote cause it’s so funny:
If there are film-goers in a territory where the film is not currently listed to open, fear not, as plans are fast coming together. All interested parties in these locales are instructed to sit on a soft surface low to the ground and take deep breaths. When calm returns, check back here at the official website to see if we have updated the release schedule. If we have not, and panic begins to take hold again, repeat the above remedy, but this time, with eyes closed, also whistle your particular countries national anthem. Do not stop whistling until we have updated the website. This will of course require the help of a good and sighted friend.
