News & Updates

Although Angelina Jolie and Matt Damon were happy to be working together on new film ‘The Good Shepherd’ they found their love scenes pretty hard to handle.

Damon, who is good friends with Brad Pitt, found it extremely awkward getting hot and heavy with his girlfriend.

Speaking to Good Morning America Damon said: “Doing a love scene with the girlfriend of a good friend is weird. We all know each other.”

However, the uber confident Jolie found things a tad easier, she said during an interview: “In reality both the people we’re involved with couldn’t have cared less about that because they know us. It’s one of those things where it’s like the least threatening person. You know, ‘Good luck to you guys, I hope it’s not too awkward.’

“The difference between kissing Matt and kissing Brad is simple. One’s a friend and one’s my lover.”

The real problem Jolie had with the film was being a victim for the first time, she added: “I realised early on this was going to be the film where I am the weak victim.”

That was a novelty for her co-stars as well, Damon added: “In one scene she had to act so apologetic and just so unlike Angie.”

‘The Good Shepherd’ will be in cinemas soon…
